Honoring Our Celtic Heritage with Rings
January 25th 2012 -
My fiancee and I are both Irish in ethnic origin. We have both felt very connected to this in our lives, and wanted to display it with Celtic wedding rings. These rings are hard to find in the United States, so we had to take to the internet to aid our search for the perfect wedding bands.
After searching, we found several traditional Irish websites offering just what we needed. We already have Claddagh rings so having another was out of the question. My fiance and I decided on plain bands with different saying on them. I chose the ring with “Love Forever” engraved in ancient Ogham script. My fiance chose the ring with “Love of My Heart” engraved in the same Ogham script. Surprisingly, both rings were less expensive than most of the rings we found in the United States. They will be shipping soon, and we both look forward to our special Celtic wedding day.
